Hamster Garage LLC is seeking an Account Director in Chicago, with openness to remote work, to lead senior client partnerships and drive strategic affiliate programs. You will shape goals, KPIs, and product-aligned campaigns while mentoring junior staff and guiding account economics.

You will oversee performance, develop creative growth plans, manage budgets, and present insights to executives. This role blends strategy, operations, and hands-on client leadership in a fast-paced agency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in affiliate marketing with top brands.
• Experience with Impact, CJ, ShareASale and similar tracking platforms.
• Strong project management and execution capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client coordination.
• Experience interacting with publishers and high-value clients.
• Attention to detail and KPI-driven mindset.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to craft compelling presentations using PowerPoint or Canva.
• Resourceful and able to research solutions independently.
• Creative and innovative solutions for user acquisition.
• Operational and process-focused, to scale across multiple accounts.

Responsabilités

• Deliver creative, data-driven strategies to meet client objectives and manage team deliverables.
• Analyze campaign metrics (ROI, ROAS, conversions, partner performance) to optimize strategies.
• Grow client accounts via upselling and revenue opportunities.
• Maintain operational excellence and high-quality deliverables.
• Communicate performance and strategy to clients and team.
• Build strong client relationships and understand goals and challenges in affiliate marketing.
• Deliver engaging client presentations outlining recommendations and insights.
• Lead and mentor a team to execute campaigns and hit goals.
• Act as advisor and escalation point for clients.
• Develop new tactics beyond traditional affiliates to boost performance.
• Prepare monthly budget vs. actual reports and narratives for client portfolios.
• Own performance bonus calculations for client invoicing.
• Provide ad hoc support in operations and sales as needed.
