Job summary

The HWP Group (Health & Wellness Partners, LLC) seeks an experienced Account Director to join our Account Services team in San Diego. You will cultivate lasting client relationships, translate goals into impactful projects, and guide internal teams to deliver on time and on budget.

You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration, manage schedules, risk, and resources, and ensure all regulatory requirements, including MLR/FDA approvals, are met. Remote and hybrid options are available.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account/project direction experience in medical communications or medical advertising.
• Strong understanding of budgeting and client strategy translation into actionable plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from planning through delivery, aligning internal teams and external vendors.
• Schedule management and risk mitigation to keep programs on track and within budget.
• Utilize project management platforms to maintain timelines and milestones.
• Facilitate cross-functional team meetings and ensure methodological alignment.
• Oversee resource allocation and flag scope changes to the Account Lead and client.
• Develop and reconcile statements of work (SOWs) and program budgets.
• Support onboarding and training of Managers and Coordinators; ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client expectations.
