Job summary

Health & Wellness Partners, LLC (HWP) is seeking an experienced Account Director to oversee client relationships, translate strategic goals into actionable projects, and guide cross-functional teams to successful outcomes.

Based in Upper Saddle River, NJ, the role focuses on managing timelines, budgets, and regulatory compliance while driving business development and client satisfaction across life sciences accounts. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account/project direction experience within a medical communications or medical advertising agency.
• Familiar with medical terminology and pharmaceutical products and regulatory procedures.
• Strong business acumen, financial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Execution from planning through delivery, coordinating internal teams and external vendors.
• Schedule and risk management; communicate progress to stakeholders and mitigate risks.
• Use project management platforms to maintain timelines, milestones, and tasks.
• Facilitate cross-functional team meetings and ensure alignment on goals and progress.
• Manage resources within budget and flag out-of-scope requests.
• Develop materials and budgets with precision; oversee SOWs and reconciliations.
• Support onboarding and training of Managers and Coordinators; ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and approvals (e.g., MLR/FDA).
