Koniag Advisory and Business Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Accessibility (508) Engineer to support Digital Workplace initiatives in Washington, DC. The role is hybrid, with 1 day onsite and ability to obtain a Public Trust.

The candidate will lead accessibility engineering, testing, and remediation across enterprise delivery teams, providing senior technical guidance on Section 508, WCAG, and accessible practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Digital Accessibility, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7 years of experience in accessibility engineering, front-end development, QA, or digital compliance.
• Hands-on experience testing and remediating digital products for Section 508 and WCAG conformance.

Responsibilities

• Lead accessibility engineering, testing, advisory, and remediation for Digital Workplace platforms and products.
• Perform accessibility assessments against Section 508, WCAG 2.x, and federal requirements.
• Lead manual and automated accessibility testing for web apps, templates, forms, and dashboards.
• Provide engineering guidance to developers, designers, product owners, QA analysts, and platform teams.
