Job summary

GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY is seeking an on-site Access Control Technician to install, wire and maintain door hardware and access control systems on campus. You will also configure systems, troubleshoot issues and coordinate with project teams.

Responsibilities include testing cables, maintaining documentation, and ensuring safety and quality codes are followed. Must be able to lift equipment and work in various campus environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ work experience with access control and low voltage related work.
• Experience with Lenel, Verkada, Axis, Allegion or Assa Abloy preferred.
• Ability to trouble shoot and install electrified door hardware.
• Must pass background check and have AZ driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install, wire, and trim out head-end access control panels with professional workmanship.
• Install and service electrified door hardware including panic devices, vertical rods, magnetic locks, and auto operators.
