Job summary

Western Connecticut State University seeks an Associate Registrar - Academic Scheduling to lead the development, administration, maintenance, and publication of the academic schedule, calendar, and final exam planning. The role requires oversight of scheduling systems and policy compliance.

The incumbent will supervise staff, collaborate with deans and academic units, manage data in Banner/EMS/CourseLeaf, and ensure accurate records and timely reporting in support of student success and the

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Four or more years of experience in a higher education environment, including registrar or enrollment management functions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and advance strategic initiatives impacting student success; strong communication with students and staff.
• Ability to leverage technology to improve operations and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and publishes the master course schedule and related reports.
• Schedules classroom space and advises on use of facilities for events.
• Maintains the academic calendar and scheduling data in Banner, EMS, and CourseLeaf.
• Serves as primary administrator for scheduling software, including data management and trainings.
• Develops and distributes the Final Exam Schedule and plans for weather contingencies.
• Supports Institutional Research with data maintenance and reporting.
