Job summary

KIPP New Jersey is seeking an Associate Director of Academic Operations to oversee day-to-day academic operations for students, staff and teachers. You will collaborate with the Director of School Operations, Teaching & Learning, and school leadership to ensure instructional programs run smoothly while supporting college readiness initiatives with KF team.

The role emphasizes managing master schedules, coordinating state and college board assessments, and ensuring compliant home instruction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years managing school operations in a charter or district setting.
• Proficient in GSuite and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience using SIS systems such as PowerShell.
• Database management and reporting experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• COVID-19 vaccination per policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual school schedule build and own the master schedule.
• Review transcripts and schedule new students in PowerSchool.
• Coordinate PSAT, SAT, AP, and NJ state assessments.
• Lead home instruction coordination and related payroll setup.
• Oversee grade integrity, transcripts, and graduation verifications.
• Support staff with onboarding and professional development.
• Own 1:1 technology system and basic tech support.
• Coordinate student recruitment and enrollment initiatives.
