The role requires a Bachelor's degree and four years in student affairs, with strong communication, leadership, and IT skills; a Master's degree is preferred. The position emphasizes collaboration with faculty and staff to enhance degree completion and retention.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in student affairs, student services, counseling, or professional academic advising.
• Strong presentation, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Advanced academic advising expertise and ability to analyze information.
• Ability to use a variety of complex computer applications.
• Ability to lead teams and manage projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external groups.
• Knowledge of University policies related to the functional area.
• Masters degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Actively participate in development and implementation of advising policies to promote student success.
• Manage a team of academic advisors and provide guidance and training.
• Lead assigned advising areas or processes and drive process improvements.
• Advise students individually and in groups regarding degree requirements.
• Leverage data and information technology to drive enrollment, academic success, retention and degree attainment.
• Prepare and update degree audits, transfer evaluations, degree plans and graduation applications.
• Make presentations to students, faculty and stakeholders about RCOB degrees and advising policies.
• Contribute to organizational health through teamwork and professional development.
• Support a varied group of individuals within the academic community.
