Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking an experienced credit professional to manage a portfolio of Asset Based Lending (ABL) transactions, focusing on credit quality, collateral monitoring, and risk mitigation within Truist risk tolerances. You will work with Truist clients and cross-functional teams to meet client needs and drive portfolio performance.

The role requires 11–15 years of related experience, a BA/BS, and strong communication skills; MBA in Finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 11-15 years of related work experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid subject matter expertise including knowledge of industry drivers, product positioning, structuring and risk mitigation
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas to resolve complex issues
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and insightfully

Responsibilities

• Manage/mitigate credit risk of ABL portfolio transactions
• Complete amendment memos, trend cards, and problem loan reports; maintain risk ratings and financial spread; maintain credit files and collateral diligence
• Adhere to Truist policies, processes, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Restructure and manage problem loans with input from risk partners
• Manage ABL credit, operational and market risk within pre-approved risk tolerance levels
• Collaborate with originations, structuring, legal, compliance and risk partners to align strategic objectives
• Develop junior talent
• Demonstrate Truist culture and values
