Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee maintenance on assigned aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with all regulations.

The role includes budgeting, scheduling, record-keeping, and coordination with FAA and AMOs, reporting to the Director of Maintenance and CAM. Location is Austin-based, with relocation within 1 hour of KAUS. Requires Gulfstream G450 experience and a valid A&P certificate.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid A&P certificate.
• Extensive knowledge of CFRs and aircraft maintenance standards.
• Experience planning, implementing and directing maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities for assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with FARs and company policies.
• Develop and manage budgets for maintenance, parts, labor, tooling and facilities.
• Maintain complete records of inspections, repairs and component changes.
• Coordinate with FAA, AMOs and external vendors for maintenance.
• Ensure airworthiness and readiness of aircraft with minimal schedule impact.
