Job summary

Liquid Instruments, with a U.S. office in Del Mar, San Diego, seeks a senior product marketing leader to drive EW/EMSO and PNT market segmentation for Moku. You will define where the company competes, shape messaging, and align with defense customers.

You’ll own technical proof, write application notes and benchmarks, and lead go-to-market for new A&D products, coordinating with sales, RD, and partners. Expect ~30% travel.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
• 8+ years in product marketing, product management, business development, or related customer-facing technical role
• Proven depth in electronic warfare, EMSO, SIGINT, radar, or assured PNT
• Hands-on familiarity with RF and wideband test and measurement equipment: spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, digitizers, and FPGA-based signal processing
• Working understanding of defense procurement: primes, neo-primes, and subs; SBIR/STTR; and how test equipment decisions are made
• Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, and defense supply chain requirements
• U.S. person status required; active or prior security clearance preferred
• Experience supporting market sizing and competitive analysis
• Understanding of competitors including Keysight, NI, Rohde & Schwarz, Tektronix, Safran, and precision timing vendors
• Track record of bringing a technical product into a defense market from strategy through execution
• Ability to lead work across teams without formal authority
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving work
• Travel for industry events and customer engagements (30%)

Responsibilities

• Define EW/EMSO and PNT market segments and applications
• Support Product Management in sizing opportunities and market prioritization
• Track competitors' products, pricing, and roadmaps for guidance
• Own vertical and product-level messaging for A&D products
• Write application notes, white papers, and benchmarks to establish defense credibility
• Lead technical go-to-market for new products including positioning and sales enablement
• Build training content, battlecards, and demos for sales and channel partners
• Influence the roadmap with defense customer evidence
• Support evaluations, demos, and technical sessions with customer teams
• Represent Liquid Instruments at events and in publications (approx. 30% travel)
• Collaborate with Content, Field Marketing, and Design teams
