Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years’ experience in a PSAP as a 9-1-1 Telecommunicator III or equivalent position.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be substituted year for year.

Responsibilities

• Identify and intervene in high-risk behavior.
• Manage multiple priorities with deadlines and limited resources.
• Supervise staff with fairness, impartiality, and tact.
• Receive, research and respond to complaints.
• Coordinate and monitor shift transfers and leave request patterns.
• Complete paperwork regarding communications equipment issues and escalate as needed.
