Job summary

ALRO Machine Company is seeking a skilled 1st Class 4 & 5-Axis CNC Machinist for our New York shop. You will set up, program, and operate advanced milling centers, reading complex blueprints and GD&T specs to ensure precise parts.

Qualifications

• Proficient in G-code programming and interpretation.
• Deep GD&T knowledge for tight tolerances.
• Experience with 4 & 5-axis CNC tooling and setups.
• Ability to optimize speed and feeds for 5-axis mills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate 4 & 5-axis CNC milling centers.
• Read blueprints and GD&T specifications to determine setups.
• Create and modify fixtures and tooling for complex parts.
• Edit G-code and optimize programs at the machine.
• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools and ensure tolerances.
