Job summary

42dot Inc. is seeking a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation digital cockpit. You will own high-fidelity, real-time 3D visualizations for in-vehicle infotainment and driver assistance, bridging design and implementation within industry-leading engines.

You will influence architecture, optimize performance on automotive-grade SoCs, and build pipelines to ship 3D assets to the vehicle hardware, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• For Unreal: deep experience with C++, Blueprints, UObject, and custom shader development (HLSL).
• For Unity: mastery of C#, HDRP, and custom package development.
• Graphics programming knowledge of modern rendering pipeline for mobile/embedded targets.
• Proficiency in C++ and familiarity with Kotlin or Swift for platform integration.
• Strong 3D math skills for spatial transforms and camera logic.

Responsibilities

• Engine Mastery: lead development and optimization of vehicle HMI using Unreal Engine, Unity3D, or custom 3D rendering.
• Build core frameworks powering real-time 3D clusters and HMIs.
• Design bridge between vehicle sensor data and 3D scene graph with low-latency visualization.
• Profile and optimize engine performance on automotive-grade SoCs focusing on memory, GPU, and thermal.
• Develop custom engine plugins and automated build pipelines for 3D assets deployment.
