Job summary

42dot Inc. is seeking a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation digital cockpit.

You will drive real-time 3D in-vehicle visualizations, bridging high-level architecture with hands-on implementation in industry-leading engines. You will own engine mastery across Unreal Engine (C++), Unity (C#), or custom 3D rendering, and optimize for automotive-grade hardware while delivering safety‑critical, high‑fidelity experiences for infotainment and ADAS

Qualifications

• Hands‑on engine expertise with modern game engines and real‑time rendering.
• Proficiency in Unreal Engine with C++, Blueprinting, UObject, and shader work (HLSL).
• Proficiency in Unity with C#, HDRP, and custom package development.
• Strong 3D math and graphics programming for automotive targets.

Responsibilities

• Engine Mastery: lead development and optimization of vehicle HMI using Unreal Engine, Unity, or a custom 3D rendering system.
• Architecture & Integration: design the bridge between vehicle sensors and the 3D scene graph for low latency visualization.
• Embedded Optimization: optimize engine performance for automotive SoCs, focusing on memory, GPU, and thermal efficiency.
• Tooling & Pipelines: create engine plugins and automated build pipelines for 3D asset deployment to hardware.
