Job summary

42dot is seeking a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of the next-generation digital cockpit. You will craft real-time 3D environments for in-vehicle infotainment and driver assistance visuals, serving as the technical anchor for our 3D strategy.

You will work across high-level architecture and hands-on implementation in industry-leading engines, optimizing for automotive-grade hardware and embedding across the software stack.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engine development experience for automotive-grade platforms.
• Proficiency with C++ or C# in real-time rendering.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity for HMI.
• Knowledge of 3D graphics pipelines and shaders.
• Familiarity with Android Automotive OS or embedded Linux is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engine Mastery: develop and optimize vehicle HMI using Unreal/Unity or custom 3D engine.
• Architecture & Integration: bridge between sensor data and 3D scene graph with low latency.
• Embedded Optimization: optimize performance on automotive SoCs.
• Tooling & Pipelines: build plugins and CI pipelines for 3D assets deployment.
