Job summary

ICON is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own the full design-build lifecycle for complex construction projects in Austin, TX, with travel across the U.S. You will lead pre-award planning, design coordination, construction execution, and commissioning, driving outcomes that reflect advanced 3D printing technology integrated with traditional building systems.

The role collaborates with Design, Purchasing, Print Operations, and Construction teams and reports to the Division President of ICON

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience managing large-scale construction projects.
• Experience delivering design-build projects across residential, commercial, or institutional sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead multi-stakeholder teams.
• Willingness to travel to project sites nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact from pre-award through closeout and drive project success.
• Oversee all phases from pre-construction planning to commissioning while ensuring quality and code compliance.
• Coordinate with design teams, vendors, and inspectors to develop design packages and budgets.
• Develop and own project schedule and manage budgets, pay apps, and change orders.
• Lead procurement, subcontracts, and safety plans across sites.
• Report progress to clients and ICON leadership with regular updates.
