Job summary

ICON is seeking a Project Engineer in Austin, TX to support our Design-Build team and PMO. You will coordinate design and construction, manage RFIs, submittals, and document control, and assist with schedules and budgets to ensure on-time delivery of ICON’s 3D-printed construction projects.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and experience with Procore, Smartsheet, and Bluebeam. Join ICON to help shape the next generation of digital construction delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field is required.
• 5+ years supporting design-build or general contracting projects.
• Strong coordination between design and field teams with solid document control.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary conduit between design and construction for alignment on design intent and priorities.
• Manage flow of RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications between teams.
• Coordinate with Design, Structural, MEP, and Print Operations for constructible details.
• Track design revisions and distribute updated documents to stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation including drawings, specs, RFIs, and change orders.
• Assist with budgeting, procurement logs, and invoice reconciliation.
• Prepare project reports and logs per PMO standards.
• Ensure documents are stored in ICON’s project management systems.
