Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
• Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics and applying concepts to real-world problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with systematic, creative approach.
• Experience in experimental data analysis, modeling, or characterization.
• Clear written and oral communication of complex topics.
• Collaborative in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Familiarity with Python, JMP, Spotfire, C/C++, or similar software.
• Experience with semiconductor memory devices or modeling is a plus; NAND experience not required.
• Machine learning / advanced data-analysis experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, characterize, and optimize advanced 3D NAND memory devices and arrays.
• Investigate memory-cell behavior and mechanisms affecting performance, reliability, endurance, and data retention.
• Design and analyze experiments to understand device behavior and guide engineering decisions.
• Develop and optimize memory operating methods, algorithms, and parameters.
• Use data-analysis techniques to extract insights from large experimental datasets.
• Create innovative solutions to challenging technical problems and influence future memory technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers across process, circuit design, device, product, test, qualification, and system engineering; communicate findings clearly.
