Job summary

Revamp Engineering Inc. seeks a Senior 3D Electrical Designer to lead and coordinate 3D models for utility-scale BESS and solar PV projects. You will oversee multiple concurrent projects, set modeling standards, and work with engineers, procurement, and clients to ensure constructible designs.

Mentoring junior designers and driving automation are key aspects. You will manage scope, schedules, and deliverables, while advancing Revamp's digital engineering capabilities in a fast-growing renewable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in engineering, engineering technology, design, drafting/CADD, or related field.
• 8+ years of engineering design, technical design, or drafting experience.
• Minimum 3 years using Autodesk Inventor for 3D infrastructure designs in a professional setting.
• Electrical design experience including cable routing, management, and equipment layout for large-scale projects.
• Experience coordinating design across civil, electrical, and structural disciplines.
• Experience producing sheet sets and design documentation from 3D models with QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, coordination, and maintenance of complex 3D models for PV and BESS projects in Autodesk Inventor.
• Develop production-ready 3D representations of system components and balance-of-system.
• Advise on electrical layout decisions including cable routing and equipment interconnections.
• Own project models, including organization, revision control, and documentation integrity.
• Resolve conflicts between civil, electrical, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
• Produce and approve sheet sets, drawings, and renderings derived from models.
• Lead modeling standards, templates, and libraries across the department.
