True Talent Solutions Partners is seeking an experienced Computer Vision Engineer to build and own the stereo-based measurement pipeline in our SF office. You will advance 3D perception research into reliable production systems and optimize accuracy across real-world sensor data.

The role emphasizes Python/PyTorch, OpenCV/Open3D, and hands-on experience with stereo vision, depth estimation, and volumetric measurement. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in computer vision or perception ML engineering.
• Strong Python and PyTorch skills, with experience using OpenCV and Open3D.
• Hands-on experience with stereo vision, depth estimation, point clouds, 3D reconstruction, and 3D geometry.
• Experience shipping CV systems based on real-world sensor data, including camera calibration and segmentation.
• Research or applied work in stereo perception and volume reconstruction.
• Experience with CUDA, robotics perception, SLAM, photogrammetry, industrial inspection, or volumetric measurement is valuable.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in computer vision, robotics, or a related field is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain stereo reconstruction, segmentation, point-cloud processing, and 3D volume estimation pipelines.
• Integrate models such as stereo depth and object detection systems, and evaluate their performance on real-world sensor data.
• Improve reconstruction quality, measurement accuracy, camera calibration assumptions, and confidence metrics.
• Estimate ground planes, stitch data, clean point clouds, and investigate system failure modes.
• Move research prototypes toward production-grade computer vision systems.
