Job summary

Sweetwater Hospital Association is seeking a 340B Program Advanced Pharmacy Coordinator to assist in managing 340B compliance, develop policies, and perform audits to ensure accurate and optimal program performance. You will help manage relationships with hospital wholesalers and contract pharmacies and coordinate operational efforts across supporting departments.

The role supports the rollout of additional program opportunities as the 340B program evolves, reporting to the 340B Program Manager

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician by the State of Tennessee Board of Pharmacy; or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active Tennessee license; or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with current certification. Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum one year hospital pharmacy experience. Possess knowledge of the 340B program standards and requirements.
• Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrates proficient knowledge of 340B Program rules, regulations, guidelines, details, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing 340B compliance to federal regulations and HRSA guidelines.
• Develop policies and procedures for the 340B program.
• Perform ongoing analysis and audits of the program and data validation.
• Manage relationships with hospital wholesalers and contract pharmacies.
• Coordinate operational efforts from supporting departments.
• Participate in development and rollout of additional program opportunities.
