Job summary

WEX is seeking a Senior Operational & Financial Risk Analyst for the Bank's 2LoD team in the United States. You will oversee entity-level risks and primary risks, driving automation of the risk metric library and ensuring timely eRMC escalations.

You’ll perform post‑decision reviews on originated credits over $150k and support policy updates through data-driven insights. You will leverage GRC platforms (Logicgate/Jira), SQL, and Tableau to automate reporting, monitor 1LoD metrics, and coordinate

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in banking enterprise risk, operational risk, or internal audit.
• 3-4 years focused on 2LoD testing, control validation, and metric oversight.

Responsibilities

• Execute independent 2LoD monitoring and testing across all Entity-Level Risks.
• Own 2LoD oversight for Primary Risks and evaluate internal controls and parent services under the MSA.
• Build and maintain a centralized risk metric library with data automation pipelines.
• Continuously monitor 1LoD risk metrics and prepare escalation packages for ERMC.
• Conduct rapid-response 2LoD risk assessments for emerging risks.
• Serve as primary 2LoD testing contact for parent-provided services and validate controls meet risk standards.
