Accounting Search is seeking a 2D Mechanical Drafter/Engineer to design custom industrial equipment in a 100% onsite role in Washington County, WI. You will draft 2D layouts, prepare BOMs, and collaborate with shop fabricators to ensure drawings translate into manufactured parts.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of drafting experience in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on manufacturability and quality. A strong, reliable work history is essential.

Qualificações

• BSME or related four-year engineering degree.
• 3+ years of 2D AutoCAD drafting in manufacturing.
• Experience with heavy industrial equipment, piping/ductwork, or thermal systems.
• Design-for-manufacturability mindset for shop efficiency.
• Stable work history with reliability.
• Residence within a 45-minute commute of Washington County, WI.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and design custom industrial equipment using 2D AutoCAD.
• Create fabrication layouts and precise Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate with shop floor supervisors, welders, and machinists to verify design specs.
• Develop supporting 3D renderings as needed for reviews.
• Own diverse design scopes across core product lines.
• Refine legacy drawings to improve yield and reduce cycle times.
