Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced English Teacher with extensive SEN and SEMH experience to join an intimate team within an SEN school in Epping. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse needs and support pupils aged 11-18.

The role offers immediate interviews and long-term progression with potential to become permanent, working within a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• PGCE or equivalent training
• Experience in SEN education (Secondary preferred)
• Strong classroom management
• Patient, resilient, adaptable approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Teach pupils between the ages of 11-18.
• Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of additional needs and abilities.
• Create a safe, structured, comfortable and supportive learning environment.
• Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress
• Work closely with SEN support staff, therapists and wider school teams.
• Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations.
• Support positive behavior management across the classroom.

I am looking for an experienced English Teacher who has extensive SEN and SEMH experience to join an intimate team of teachers within an SEN school in Epping.
