Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group seeks an experienced English Teacher with extensive SEN and SEMH experience to join a dedicated SEN school in Epping. You will support children and young people with complex needs, helping them learn, build confidence and reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications

Experience in SEN education required, especially secondary.
Strong classroom management and behavior support.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Teach pupils aged 11-18.
Adapt curriculum to meet diverse needs and abilities.
Create a safe, structured, supportive learning environment.
Build positive relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress.
Work with SEN support staff, therapists and wider school teams.
Monitor, assess and report pupil progress.
Support positive behavior management across the classroom.
