Job summary

Fountain Head House School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN aged 4–16 at our Saltash Campus. You will help pupils access a bespoke curriculum, foster independence, and work with teachers to deliver engaging activities in a nurturing environment.

The role requires EYFS or nursery experience, a passion for SEN, and ability to manage behaviour positively while safeguarding pupils. DBS clearance and references are part of the process.

Qualifications

• EYFS or nursery experience in SEN settings.
• Passion for supporting SEN pupils with a personal, creative curriculum.
• Ability to manage behaviour positively and support emotional regulation.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with access to a personalised curriculum.
• Collaborate with class teachers and support staff to deliver engaging learning.
• Assist with emotional/behaviour regulation and intimate care if required.
• Promote pupil independence and life skills.
• Support safeguarding and welfare requirements.
