Five Education is looking for a Teacher who can deliver to a small class of secondary-age children diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Some children have additional needs regarding communication and social abilities. The school is based in Templecombe, has on-site parking, and is accessible by public transport.
The successful candidate will have classroom teaching experience and a developed understanding of autism-friendly teaching methods. You will be eager to develop your pedagogy by learning more about ASD. Teaching materials and resources are provided, and the school encourages individuality, allowing you to adapt materials to make lessons outstanding.
Previous experience as a primary/secondary/FE teacher is welcome. The school offers training and support, a supportive staff cohort, and good facilities, fostering ambition and achievement.
