Intel Foundry Construction and Sourcing seeks a Construction Tool Equipment Install Engineer for an onsite Hillsboro, OR role. You will engage with customers and partners, lead the site project execution, and drive tool install milestones while addressing issues to keep projects on schedule.

The position emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, safety, and quality, with a 12-month fixed-term contract and active involvement from pre-design through system start-up to avoid delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering, architecture or related technical field with required years of experience as specified.
• 4+ years of project or program management in large scale construction or factory tool install/qualification ramp experience (Bachelor's).
• 2+ years with a Master's degree in the same field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align equipment procurement with install schedule requirements.
• Support factory growth and product timelines across local Oregon and VF site teams.
• Lead planning and coordination meetings across multiple suppliers, trade contractors and stakeholders.
• Identify and address commercial risks and capacity, driving root cause resolution and field fixes.
• Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality project plans for cost-effective delivery.
• Ensure work meets Intel safety and quality expectations.
• Act as primary owner from pre-design through system start-up to mitigate delays.
