Job summary
Talanto is seeking a Construction Tool Install Engineer (Contract) in Hillsboro, OR to lead site-level tool installation projects. The role involves coordinating with factory owners, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure on-schedule delivery of tools and equipment, and managing risks and communications on the job site.
The ideal candidate has an engineering degree and at least 1 year of project or program management experience in construction or tool installation, with preference for
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture or related technical field.
- 1+ years of experience in project or program management, construction or tool install.
- Experience in installation and demolition of process tool equipment is a plus.
- PMP, Lean or 6-Sigma certification is a plus.
- Experience in semiconductor industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to order and deliver Tools/Equipment/Kits per schedule.
- Represent local site in CTI and VF forums.
- Forecast equipment workload and funding with Financial Planning/Reporting cycles.
- Ensure commit/POs are in place for Tools/Equipment/Kits.
- Coordinate with EMS and Systems Owners on equipment requirements and schedule.
- Drive configuration/genealogy for orders and kit delivery.
- Lead cross-site planning and coordination meetings.
