Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project Design Lead to drive end-to-end tool installation design for semiconductor manufacturing facilities. You will oversee 10–15 concurrent packages, coordinate structural, mechanical, electrical and architectural teams, and serve as the main client interface, driving progress and resolving blockers with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or 5+ years equivalent experience).
2+ years of semiconductor tool install design experience
Experience leading design coordination and construction drawing development
Strong client interaction and relationship track record
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and scope
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, etc.)

Responsibilities

End-to-end delivery of complex tool installation design packages.
Oversee projects that can range from 15 to 200+ pages; coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Primary interface with clients through frequent communication.
Manage scope, schedule, and budget to ensure timely, cost-effective execution.
Conduct field verifications to confirm design accuracy and constructability.
Identify solutions and advance workstreams even when dependencies fall outside direct control.
