Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project Design Lead in Hillsboro, OR, open to relocation. The role leads end-to-end tool installation design projects, coordinating across structural, mechanical, electrical and architectural teams, with frequent client interaction.

Expect management of 10–15 concurrent packages, guarding scope, budget and schedule, and field verifications for constructability. The ideal candidate has semiconductor project experience, strong communication, and proven leadership within

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or 5+ years equivalent experience).
2+ years of semiconductor tool install design experience.
Experience leading design coordination and construction drawing development.
Strong client interaction and relationship track record.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and scope.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, etc.).

Responsibilities

End-to-end delivery of complex tool installation design packages.
Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams (structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural).
Interface with clients through frequent communication.
Manage scope, schedule, and budget for timely, cost-effective execution.
Oversee 10–15 concurrent tool packages with high quality and momentum.
Conduct field verifications to confirm design accuracy and constructability.
