Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Production Test Technician in Oregon to set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot circuits, components, and mechanical subassemblies for advanced wafer fabrication equipment. You will develop test specifications to meet design requirements and customer needs.

The role requires 2–4 years in semiconductor capital equipment, an associate or technical degree, and the ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment or similar manufacturing.
• Training in electronics, mechatronics, or related field.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Able to operate hand tools and test equipment safely.
• SAP/BOM familiarity for configuration updates.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and test wafers fabrication equipment components and assemblies.
• Measure resistance, continuity, voltage using test equipment.
• Update configuration editor settings via SAP/BOM data.
• Identify Non-Conformance Items (NCIs) and coordinate improvements.
• Communicate production status, tasks completed, and shift pass-downs clearly.
