Job summary

Lam Research in Oregon's Global Products Group is seeking an Engineering Technician to support design, test, modification, and assembly of electro‑mechanical systems and experimental circuitry. You will reference schematics to conduct testing, troubleshoot, and help determine remedies to malfunctions.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in semiconductor work, wafer handling and analysis.
• Excellent manual dexterity.
• Strong troubleshooting and pattern recognition abilities.
• Able to organize large quantities of items.
• Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of how semiconductors are created.

Responsibilities

• Organize shipments of microscopy materials to external labs and manage intake and screening.
• Prepare samples before STEM tool loading, including coatings and marking areas of interest.
• Follow fixed procedures across diverse sample configurations.
• Provide customer service related to sample handling.
• Potential career growth into electron microscopy within the group.
