Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist in Oregon to load wafers, verify specs, monitor equipment, and support production pace in a 12-hour compressed shift. You will work with a team to set up tools, adjust processes, and ensure adherence to documented specifications and safety standards in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities include SPC-driven analysis, tool changeovers, and collaboration with internal customers to optimize factory productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and communicate with internal customers.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 15 pounds) and navigate stairs as part of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate tools to process wafers through the manufacturing stages.
• Use analytical and deductive skills to determine processing strategies and timing of tool changes.
• Make minor process corrections and suggest improvements for productivity.
• Perform process diagnosis using SPC methodology and interface with computer systems to complete duties.
• Prioritize daily tasks with teammates and other departments to meet production goals.
• Adhere to safety and conduct requirements and maintain cleanroom attire and hygiene.
