Job summary

ManpowerGroup, in Hillsboro, OR, is hiring a Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician to support wafer fabrication in a cleanroom environment. Responsibilities include PMs, tool monitoring, WIP management, material handling, and collaborating with engineers to improve equipment availability and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Manufacturing, Electronics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, cleanroom, technical operations, production, or related environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Windows-based systems, Word, Excel, and internet applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
• Proactive safety-first mindset.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities on tools and work areas.
• Monitor tool operation status throughout the shift.
• Confirm and prioritize Work in Progress (WIP) requirements.
• Set up, process, and monitor WIP on multiple production toolsets.
• Identify, report, and escalate equipment issues or failures to the appropriate teams.
• Execute Level 1 tool operations according to procedures and specifications.
• Introduce product material to toolsets and properly store lots and pods.
• Package and ship production materials.
• Work with chemicals such as IPA and Acetone as required.
• Monitor inventory levels and order consumables as needed.
• Procure materials and supplies from designated vendor locations.
• Track WIP status through dispatch systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to support equipment availability and process improvements.
• Support training initiatives and assist in mentoring teammates.
