Advantest America Inc. in San Jose, CA seeks a Production Solutions Software - Technical Pre/Post-Sales Engineer to partner with customers, lead technical discussions, and translate capabilities into business value.

This role combines software and test equipment know-how to support our semiconductor customers. You will collaborate with R&D and field teams, support demos, deployments, and installations on the V93K platform, and help drive automation and yield improvements.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering, CS, or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of engineering or production experience.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Travel within or outside US.

Responsibilities

• Become a key strategic partner for customers and provide technical leadership.
• Uncover customer challenges and goals (e.g., automation, yield, power, time-to-market).
• Translate Advantest capabilities to customer outcomes.
• Lead the customer engagement during pre-sales, demos, value positioning, implementation, installation.
• Lead a cross-functional team through requirements discovery, solution design, code development, on-site integration & support.
• Collaborate with global R&D, Services Sales, and local Account teams.
• Share new product knowledge with key stakeholders.
• Provide software installation, upgrades, integration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Product responsibilities include Production software on Advantest V93K testers.
