Job summary

HORIBA in Tempe, AZ is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to analyze customer needs, review requirements, and propose solutions for semiconductor processes such as ALD, PEALD, and diffusion. You will perform field demonstrations and promote products to potential customers.

You will build relationships with key decision makers, coordinate technical services with product leaders, and prepare quotes in line with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical experience and 1–2 years in B2B semiconductor sales engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine and analyze customers’ needs; review requirements, recommend solutions, and prepare proposals.
• Perform field promotional work to sell and develop new business.
• Build relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
• Demonstrate products/applications and assist in optimal product usage.
• Coordinate technical services with Product Category leaders and service resources; align delivery with Inside Sales.
• Prepare price quotations and terms of sale in accordance with company guidelines.
