Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Fremont, CA is seeking a Planner to oversee production planning and scheduling for a fast-turn, engineer-to-order environment. You will resolve material conflicts, coordinate with engineering and quality teams, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining WIP inventory within company goals.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of planning experience in a quick-turn setting, a BA/BS in related fields, and familiarity with MRP/ERP and MS Office.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in business administration, operations management, or equivalent experience.
2+ years planning experience in quick-turn, low volume, engineer-to-order production.
CPIM/CIRM certification is a plus.
Strong organization and communication skills; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor final approval of products through the production cycle.
Establish production schedules, labor loading, equipment capabilities and capacity requirements.
Coordinate with engineering, quality and purchasing to ensure specs and parts availability.
Resolve production control problems and drive to closure; manage WIP inventory.
Interface with customers to schedule deliveries or discuss issues when needed.
