Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. is seeking a Senior Production Planner- Wafer in Livermore, CA to translate demand into executable fab plans.

You will own short-, mid-, and long-range wafer production, manage complex flows, and lead cross-functional resolution of constraints affecting starts, cycle time, and on-time delivery. The role requires 8+ years in production planning with semiconductor wafer experience, strong ERP/MES/APS skills, and the ability to influence without direct authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations, including semiconductor wafer fab experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in planning re-entrant manufacturing flows and integrating demand, capacity, WIP, yield, and constraints into schedules.
• Experience with ERP/MES/APS systems and strong analytical capabilities using Excel and BI tools.
• Ability to lead cross-functional decisions and communicate risks and trade-offs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own the short-, mid-, and long-range wafer fab production plan, including wafer starts, lot release timing, module loading, and recovery priorities.
• Translate demand, backlog, forecasts, product mix, and customer priorities into finite, time-phased schedules across re-entrant wafer flows.
• Balance cycle time, WIP, throughput, yield, capacity, and material availability to create feasible plans.
• Lead daily and weekly planning reviews connecting the master plan to shop-floor execution.
