Job summary

FM Industries is seeking a Planner in Fremont, CA to organize and control the flow of production parts and support the scheduling of orders and services for customer commitments. You will respond to inquiries and communicate lead times and schedule changes with internal teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Business Operations preferred with 3-5 years of related work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Must be reliable with excellent attendance.
• Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems such as Epicor Vantage or SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process timely release of shop orders in quantities that support upper-level demand.
• Define, monitor and adjust planning as conditions in the processes or demand stream change.
• Generate and respond to ERP/MRP reporting to ensure schedules and priorities are defined for shop floor, procurement and management.
• Maintain weekly/monthly production schedule and execute subsequent MRP cycles to support schedules.
• Provide professional customer service by responding to inquiries, communicating changes and escalating issues to the Business Manager.
