Job summary

Randstad, in partnership with a premier leader in advanced sensor technology, is seeking a Buyer / Planner for their Fremont, CA facility to balance material supply with production demand for high‑precision manufacturing. You will own the daily MRP/MPS workflow, manage supplier performance, and optimize inventory, while supporting New Product Introductions alongside Engineering and Quality teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 3–5+ years in materials planning, purchasing, or production scheduling in high‑precision manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH).

Responsibilities

• MRP & Order Execution: Own the daily MRP/MPS workflow and translate forecasts into POs and releases.
• Supplier & Flow Management: Track PO status, expedite shipments, and partner with suppliers for OTIF delivery.
• Inventory Optimization: Monitor safety stock, min/max, reorder points; reduce E&O and manage PPV.
