Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Process Technician in the California area to actively support process development, product development and R&D. You’ll set up processing equipment, run tests, collect data, and present findings to optimize yield.

This role requires cleanroom work and English communication. The position involves assisting process engineers and development teams, troubleshooting lab tools, and working a shift schedule in a hybrid On-site Flex/Virtual Flex environment as

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience.
• Associates degree or Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or related field.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment with PPE.
• Foundational communication skills in English.
• Ability to work a shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supports Process Engineers in preparation for wafer fabrication equipment tests, setup, experiments, data collection, and sample submissions.
• Operates processing equipment and tools with recipes defined by engineering teams to collect results and analyze chemistry properties.
• Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and schematics of results for presentation to identify yield optimization areas.
• Provides technical assistance to process development teams and process engineers.
• Assist in technical troubleshooting and improvement opportunities of the lab tools and experiment setups.
