Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics or related field; graduate eligible.
• Familiarity with laboratory work and semiconductor equipment; surface preparation and analytical techniques.
• Experience with SPC and/or DOE; strong statistical analysis skills.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python; ability to analyze data and derive insights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process engineering R&D and evaluation for Lam’s semiconductor equipment and systems.
• Review and improve processing techniques used in manufacture and fabrication.
• Develop and sustain new processes and process improvements to reduce costs and increase yields.
• Compile and analyze test data to determine next steps and process limits/variables.
• Collaborate internally to plan, collect data, analyze results, and report on customer demos.
