Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Laboratory Service Engineer in the California laboratory. You will maintain and upgrade state-of-the-art equipment, perform diagnostics, calibrations, and preventive maintenance, and support prototype deployments in a cleanroom environment.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure safe handling of hazardous materials, and help develop procedures and documentation for new hardware technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent military training.
2+ years of relevant experience or 4+ with associates.
Prior lab maintenance and calibration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibrations on lab equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, and vacuum systems.
Handle hazardous materials with proper PPE and safety practices.
Install prototype equipment and develop procedures and documentation.
Collaborate with process, hardware, and software engineers on R&D activities.
