Lam Research Corporation is seeking a senior Process Engineer to design, develop, and optimize advanced processing methods for cutting-edge semiconductor equipment. You will work across materials science and surface engineering to push technical boundaries while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes developing new processes, analyzing test data, and delivering cost and yield improvements in a hybrid work environment.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics or related field with 8+ years of experience; or a PhD with 5+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment and surface preparation is preferred.
• Background in ALD, CVD, PECVD, or PVD; Plasma Physics, RIE, ALE, ICP, CCP; material synthesis and characterization.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct process engineering research, development, and evaluation for Lam’s semiconductor equipment and systems.
• Review and enhance processing techniques used in manufacturing and fabrication of products.
• Develop and sustain new processes and process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields.
• Compile and analyze test data to establish next steps in process development and determine limits and variables for specifications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to plan, collect data, analyze results, and report on customer demos for existing process applications.
• Partner with customers to understand roadmaps, requirements, and business challenges; support product development and release activities.
