Rochester Electronics, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer I to help develop and document back-end semiconductor assembly techniques. You will participate in routine process evaluations, basic troubleshooting, and data collection to improve equipment performance and product yield under close supervision.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, applying DOE and SPC concepts, and supporting process controls while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of semiconductor assembly experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes high yielding, cost effective processes with guidance.
• Applies problem solving methodologies to achieve department goals.
• Explores cost and cycle time reductions and reports to senior engineers.
• Assists in DOE for process optimization and data analysis (JMP/Minitab/Excel).
• Supports Process Control Plans and FMEAs and cross-functional teams.
• Maintains safety awareness and proactive workplace practices.
