Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho, invites applications for a Process Development Engineering Intern. You will work on dedicated projects within a fast‑paced R&D environment, gaining hands‑on semiconductor process development experience under senior engineers' mentorship.

You will collaborate across process and equipment teams to develop innovative solutions meeting demanding product requirements, and present results to technical and leadership audiences at the end of the internship.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in a related technical field and enrolled through September 2027.
• Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and scientific/engineering research methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; able to work independently and manage priorities.
• Experience applying AI or data science techniques to analyze data or improve workflows.

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize semiconductor processes for memory products.
• Partner with multi-functional process and equipment teams to implement improvements.
• Perform root-cause and failure-mode analyses to identify limitations and corrective actions.
• Conduct fundamental research to support next-generation memory technologies and process innovations.
• Analyze pilot manufacturing and technology data using statistics and AI-enabled tools to support decisions.
