Job summary

Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage, offers a Process Development Engineering Intern role to gain hands-on semiconductor process development experience on current and future memory products. Under mentorship, you will collaborate across process and equipment teams to develop innovative solutions that meet demanding product requirements.

You will present results to technical and leadership audiences at internship end.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Ph.D. in a technical field and enrolled through September 2027.
• Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and scientific/engineering research methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Experience Applying Artificial Intelligence, Leveraging AI, or Data Science techniques to analyze data, improve workflows, or support technical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize semiconductor processes that meet physical and electrical performance requirements for current and future memory products.
• Partner with multi-functional process and equipment engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Perform root-cause analysis and failure-mode analysis to identify process limitations and develop corrective actions.
• Conduct fundamental research to support next-generation memory technologies and process innovations.
• Analyze pilot manufacturing and technology development data using statistical methods and AI-enabled analytical tools to support engineering decision-making.
