Cohu, Inc. in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo) invites you to join the Order Management Department to process customer orders for semiconductor test handlers, kits and contactors.

The position is a long-term full-time temporary assignment, on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with a one-hour lunch. You will collaborate with the Operations Team to ensure consistent fulfilment of customer commitments, manage inquiries, acknowledge receipts, confirm POs, communicate with colleagues, monitor

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; AS degree or higher preferred.
• Four years of experience in customer service in a manufacturing or B2B context is expected.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to multi-task and use ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer’s enquiries promptly.
• Manage and process customer purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Acknowledge PO receipts and send order confirmations to customers.
• Manage and communicate sales orders with the operations team.
• Monitor backlog and maintain accurate shipment dates and information.
• Track POs and update related tools/files; generate customer reports.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
